PM Shehbaz Sharif Calls for Unity to Eliminate Terrorism from Pakistan

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the state is fully committed to completely ridding Pakistan of terrorism and national unity is fundamental in this struggle.
Addressing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Security Workshop, he said that the country will move on the path of real development when all provinces develop equally, the prosperity of just one province does not represent the entire Pakistan.
He said that Pakistan’s economy is being built on strong foundations and reform measures are being taken to further accelerate the pace of development.
The Prime Minister highlighted that other provinces have made financial sacrifices for the improvement of law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while special cooperation was also provided to Balochistan.
He said that protecting the young generation from extremism is a national responsibility and attracting them towards positive activities is among the priorities of the government.
The Prime Minister said that the victory against India has significantly increased Pakistan’s defense capability and global prestige, which has sent a clear message to the enemies that Pakistan is not negligent about its defense.
He said that eradicating the scourge of terrorism from the roots is the ultimate goal of the state and all institutions are united for this purpose.
