Rawalpindi: Opposition leader Omar Ayub has alleged that the Adiala Jail administration prevented him and party leaders from meeting despite their names coming up.
Speaking to the media outside the Adiala Jail, he said the police officers stopped the party leaders from going ahead and refused to receive the court orders.
Omar Ayub said that the jail administration said that the orders of the jail superintendent were that no orders should be received.
He further said that the sisters of the founder PTI were abused outside the jail, while Hamid Raza, Shafqat Awan, Tayyaba Raja, and Alia Hamza were arrested from here.
“Our goal is the release of the founder of PTI, his wife, and other leaders. On the question of political talks, he said, What was the benefit of talks with Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz? They don’t have power.
