Lahore: The Punjab government has officially launched the second phase of the CM Agriculture Internship Program under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, which will provide new employment opportunities to highly educated youth in the agriculture sector.
According to the official announcement, 2,000 agriculture graduates will be included under this program, who will be given a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000. Students of B.Sc. Agriculture and B.Sc. (Hons.) Agricultural Engineering can participate in the program.
Youths who wish to join the program have been directed to submit an application to the office of the Deputy Director of Agriculture (Extension) of their respective districts. A special helpline has also been activated for further guidance.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that “this program not only provides respectable employment to the youth but also provides guidance to farmers on modern agricultural techniques.”
