Lahore: The 721st annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Khwaja Ziauddin Shah Sarwarbani Sabri (may Allah have mercy on him) will begin in Lahore from August 29. The three-day Urs celebrations will include Ghusl Mubarak, Mehfil-e-Milad and Langar Sharif.
According to the Urs administration, the Ghusl Mubarak ritual will be performed after Asr prayers on August 29, 2025. Mehfil-e-Milad will be held after Maghrib prayers on August 30, while Langar Sharif will be distributed after Zuhr prayers on August 31.
The special address at the celebrations will be delivered by prominent religious scholar Hazrat Allama Maulana Qari Muhammad Qasim Qadri (Imam and Khatib of Jamia Masjid Rawda Abu Ishaq, Lahore).
The administration says that a large number of pilgrims are expected to participate in the Urs celebrations and special arrangements are being made for security and facilities on this occasion so that devotees can attend in a peaceful environment.
