KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced public holidays on Christmas and Quaid-e-Azam Day at the end of December, while an additional holiday has also been added for the Christian community.
According to the notification issued, December 25, 2025, will be a public holiday in all government and semi-government institutions, corporations and local councils. In addition, December 26, 2025, a holiday will be given only to Christian employees so that they can attend religious ceremonies.
The government announcement said that this facility will be implemented in all institutions under the provincial government, however, emergency and essential services will continue to function as usual.
