Lahore: JUI-F ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman, while meeting a delegation of business leaders in Lahore, has strongly criticized the government policies and said that in the name of the current budget and development projects, the people are being pushed into the quagmire of inflation and unemployment.
He said that in the name of the development of the city, thousands of shopkeepers and residents of Shah Alam Market and Circular Road cannot be allowed to be demolished. About seven thousand shops and five hundred houses will be affected by this move, which is unacceptable.
The Maulana said that the government’s poor policies have made the life of the common citizen difficult, inflation is touching the sky, and the purchasing power of the poor has disappeared.
He fully supported the demands of the committee and announced that JUI-F stands with the affected traders at every level.
