LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced that all government and private schools will remain open on May 28, the “Youm-e-Takbir.” According to a notification issued by the School Education Department Punjab, it has been directed to celebrate Youm-e-Takbir with full national spirit.
According to the notification, special programs will be organized in the school assembly in which the national anthem, prayers, and tribute to the Pakistan Army will be paid. Apart from this, national songs, speech competitions, and debates will also be organized among the students.
The education department says that these events will not only highlight the importance of Youm-e-Takbir but will also enlighten the new generation with patriotism. The winners of the competitions held at the district level will be given prize money of Rs. 50,000. Moreover, at the end of these events, summer vacations will also be announced, which are eagerly awaited by the students.
