Islamabad: Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that the government will provide special relief for the salaried class in the upcoming budget, while improvements in the tax system, digital reforms, and a modern direction for the economy will be determined. Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, he said that we will also bring out the complete strategic direction of the economy in the budget.
He said that India made a strong effort to stop Pakistan’s loan program in the IMF, but Pakistan’s case was approved on full merit, which is an expression of confidence in our economic policies.
Muhammad Aurangzeb said that supporting the Pakistani armed forces is not only a state need but also a national need, and the government will provide all possible cooperation in this regard. According to him, mutual solidarity is essential for national defense and economic stability.
The finance minister described the ongoing digitization of the FBR, pension reforms, improvements in the energy sector, and measures to address the impacts of climate change as among the top priorities of the government. He said that adopting technology is essential for the development of the economy.
