Rain likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan

Karachi: According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to change in different parts of the country during the next 24 hours. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are expected to have partly cloudy weather with strong winds and thundershowers at a few places. The weather in the remaining areas will remain mostly hot and dry.

Punjab: Rain is likely in various cities of the province. Rain is expected in Okara, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Pakpattan and Sahiwal. Rain is also likely in Vehari, Khanpur, Kot Addu, Lodhran and Khanewal. Clouds may also fall in some areas of Dera Ghazi Khan, Taunsa, Rajanpur and Multan. In North Punjab, Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Attock, Sialkot and Narowal are expected to have partly cloudy weather. The weather is also expected to be partly cloudy in Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Khushab and Mianwali.

Sindh and Balochistan: Rain may also begin in some areas of Sindh. There are chances of rain in Tharparkar, Mithi, Islamkot, Nagarparkar, Chhachro, Umerkot and Mirpur Khas. Rain is also expected in Sanghar, Khairpur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Matiari, Tando Allah Yar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Thatta, Badin, Sukkur, Dadu, Jamshoro and Sujawal. The weather may also remain partly cloudy in Larkana, Hyderabad, Jacobabad and Ghotki.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: The weather is likely to be partly cloudy in most districts of the province. Rain is expected in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Kohistan, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Buner, Chitral, Kurram, Orakzai, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Khyber, Bajaur, Mohmand, Kohat, Hangu and Karak. Thunderstorms are possible in some areas of Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan and Waziristan.

Northern Areas: Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are expected to remain cloudy with strong winds and thundershowers.

The Meteorological Department has advised tourists and locals to take special care of the weather conditions.
