Lahore: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has severely criticised the Tehreek-e-Insaf and said that the party’s real aim is to harm Pakistan’s defence. He said that “the incident of May 9 was the failure of PTI, and May 10 was the defeat of India,” which is proof of the failure of the narrative against the country’s security institutions.
In his address, he raised questions about the performance of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, saying that not even a major project was completed in the 12-year government, and the province has been administratively destroyed.
Atta Tarar said that the PTI’s rally in Peshawar’s Sunday Bazaar failed miserably; the people have rejected them. He said that the government is fulfilling its election promises, while the founder of PTI wanted the country to default.
The Information Minister also said that Field Marshal Asim Munir has a significant role in managing the country’s economy, and the presence of the Chief of Defence Forces has become a symbol of fear for the enemies.
Atta Tarar added that the founder of PTI is in jail for the “robbery” of 190 million pounds, and by desecrating the monuments of martyrs, he fulfilled the enemy’s agenda.
He said that it is sad and shameful for the sisters of the founder of PTI to speak against the army in the Indian media.
