Islamabad: In the context of rising tensions in the region and the aggressive progress of global powers, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken an unusual step and called for an important meeting of the National Security Committee tomorrow. According to sources, important federal ministers, armed forces chiefs, and top security officials will participate in the meeting. The aim of this meeting is to determine Pakistan’s possible response and strategy to the growing conflict between Iran, Israel, and the US in the Middle East.
Apart from this, discussions are also expected on other important national issues, security concerns, and regional cooperation. In the current circumstances, this meeting by the Prime Minister can prove to be a decisive turning point for the country’s foreign and domestic policy, in which the direction of Pakistan’s future security policy can be determined.
