The prime minister gave clear instructions that the second and third phases of the auction of loss-making power-generating companies (GENCOs) should be completed soon. He stressed that this auction should be broadcast live on the media for transparency.

He directed them to complete the installation of smart meters soon and sought an immediate report from the concerned authorities on this.

The prime minister said that the process of converting agricultural tube wells to solar energy in Balochistan has been completed by the federal government, which will greatly benefit the agricultural sector of the province.

On this occasion, he ordered the speedy implementation of projects to accelerate the privatization of electricity distribution companies across the country, complete the process of establishing electric vehicle charging stations immediately, and modernize the electricity transmission system.
