Permission for summer camps to continue education during summer vacations

LAHORE: The Punjab government has taken an important step to maintain educational continuity during the summer holidays. Private schools across the province have been allowed to hold free summer camps from June 15 to July 15. Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced that this move is being taken to continue the learning activities of children and improve their creative and physical abilities.

Participation in the summer camps is voluntary and without any fee. If any school charges fees or charges, strict action will be taken against it. The timings of the summer camps will be from 7:30 am to 10:00 am so that children can stay safe from the scorching heat. Parents and education experts have welcomed the decision, saying that this move will help in the overall development of children.
