Islamabad: Pakistan has made significant progress in making its diplomatic presence in the region more effective and has held high-level contacts with Bangladesh and Qatar. Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar spoke to the leaders of both countries over the phone and discussed new possibilities for bilateral cooperation.
In the consultations with the Bangladeshi leadership, special attention was paid to promoting economic partnership, trade relations and common interests. According to officials, the two countries agreed to maintain close cooperation in the future and further strengthen mutual ties.
On the same day, in a conversation with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar, the need to promote political and economic cooperation and increase coordination on global and regional issues was also emphasized.
According to analysts, recent diplomatic contacts indicate that Pakistan is giving a new dimension to relations with friendly countries while keeping its foreign policy balanced and proactive to ensure economic development and regional stability.
