Pakistani citizens should avoid traveling to the Middle East, Foreign Ministry advisory

Islamabad: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued an important travel advisory for Pakistanis in view of the tense situation in the Middle East, in which it has been advised not to travel to Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria.

According to the Foreign Office statement, Pakistanis already in these countries have been strictly instructed to restrict their movements, remain in constant contact with local embassies, and report immediately in case of any threat. The spokesperson clarified that the Pakistani government gives top priority to the safety of citizens at all times and all possible measures are being taken in this regard.
