Islamabad: Keeping in mind the increased travel of the public on Eid-ul-Adha, the National Highways and Motorway Police has issued a special travel advisory so that citizens can get complete safety and convenience during their journey.
According to the spokesperson, millions of people travel to meet their families on the occasion of Eid, which increases the traffic pressure. On this occasion, timely checking of vehicles, caution in driving, and avoiding sleepiness are very important.
Citizens have been instructed not to start their journey without checking the engine oil, water, brakes, and tires. Drivers should take a break after every two hours and continue their journey after being completely refreshed. Driving in a state of drowsiness can lead to accidents.
In case of additional fare or over-riding in passenger vehicles, the helpline 130 can be contacted immediately for complaints. The spokesperson said that the Motorway Police is there to help citizens at all times.
These instructions have been issued to make Eid travel safe, peaceful, and enjoyable.
