Maryum Nawaz announces: South Asia’s largest cancer hospital and 1100 electric buses in Punjab by December

Tokyo, Japan: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that historic development projects in the health, infrastructure and transport sectors are being completed in the province and 1100 electric buses will be brought on the roads in Punjab by December, the fare of which will be only Rs. 20.

Addressing the Pakistani community in Tokyo, he said that the largest cancer hospital in South Asia, “Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital”, is being built in Punjab, while people from all over the country are now heading to Punjab for treatment.
She said that the PML-N government has provided immediate relief to the people by reducing inflation from 38 percent to 3 percent in just a few months.

The Punjab Chief Minister said that the Clean Punjab project is the largest sanitation program in the history of the province, under which more than 150,000 people have been provided employment. She said that with the help of Japanese technology, the sanitation, transport and environmental protection sectors will be developed on modern lines.

Maryam Nawaz further said that the Punjab government will complete one hundred thousand houses by the end of this year and provide them to low-income families, while 50,000 scholarships and one hundred thousand laptops will also be given to talented students.
