ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that a large portion of Pakistan’s population consists of youth and the main point of the government’s policies is to provide skill training to the youth so that they can be an active part of the country’s economy.
Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad, the Finance Minister said that the real problem facing Pakistan is the lack of discipline and results-based implementation.
He said that with a population of more than 240 million and an annual growth rate of 2.5 percent, it is imperative to move towards sustainable economic development to eradicate poverty.
