Major reforms in FIA, the entire country has been divided into 3 regions and 2 new zones

Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has announced major reforms in its operational structure, under which the organization has been divided into three major regions and two new zones.

According to the FIA ​​spokesperson, now the North, Central and South regions have been established under the leadership of the Additional IG. Earlier, the organization had only North and South regions.

Under the new structure, the North region will include Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Peshawar and Kohat zones. The Central region will include Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Multan, while the South region will include Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Balochistan zones.

Along with this, two new zones have also been established, including Gilgit-Baltistan Zone (Head Office in Gilgit) and Sukkur Zone (Head Office in Sukkur).

According to the FIA ​​spokesperson, the main objective of this restructuring is to improve the efficiency of the organization and provide services to the public in a more effective manner.
