Makkah: The last Friday prayer before the Hajj 2025 rituals was offered with spiritual scenes at the Grand Mosque, in which more than 1.5 million pilgrims from all over the world participated.
Despite the intense heat, the spiritual enthusiasm and enthusiasm remained in the Friday prayer gathering. Pilgrims used colorful umbrellas to protect themselves from the heat.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Health, no epidemic or contagious disease has been reported among the Hajj pilgrims so far; however, 5 heatstroke cases have been reported, while about 1,600 pilgrims are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.
According to the report, 8 pilgrims underwent open heart surgery and 104 underwent angioplasty, while an Egyptian woman’s eyesight was saved with timely medical assistance.
50,000 security personnel have been deployed from the Saudi Ministry of Interior and other institutions. There is a complete ban on the entry of unauthorized persons, and many have been arrested.
Electric vehicles have been provided for disabled and sick pilgrims so that they can perform the Hajj easily.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has invited 1,000 relatives of Palestinian martyrs and 1,300 people as royal guests to perform Hajj.
