Lahore: New working hours of government schools announced, students will be dismissed at 1:30 PM

Lahore: The Education Authority Lahore has issued a new schedule regarding the working hours of government schools across the province, according to which all schools will open at 8:45 AM.
The announcement issued by the authority stated that the daily leave time for students has been fixed at 1:30 PM, while the leave for teachers will be at 2:30 PM so that teaching and administrative activities can be completed.
On Friday, students will be dismissed at 12:15 PM, so that facilities are provided in view of Friday prayers.
The Education Authority has clarified that no changes have been made to the current working hours and all educational institutions will complete their arrangements under the same system.
The administration has directed parents and teachers to send children to school on time and ensure full implementation of educational and safety instructions so that educational activities can continue without interruption.
