ISLAMABAD: On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, February 5 will be a public holiday across the country, under which government and private offices, schools, colleges and universities will remain closed.
According to the government announcement, the purpose of the holiday is to provide an opportunity for the public to participate in Kashmir Day celebrations, rallies and other solidarity activities. On this day, walks, seminars and prayer gatherings will be organized in different cities to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
According to sources, the government has directed state institutions and the media to highlight the Kashmir issue and highlight the struggle and hardships of the Kashmiri people at the national and international levels.
Kashmir Solidarity Day is celebrated every year in Pakistan to convince the international community that the Kashmiri people are struggling for their fundamental rights and right to self-determination, and Pakistan stands with them.
