Islamabad: A high-level delegation led by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has arrived in Pakistan for talks. According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, the delegation includes Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, Secretary of the Defense Council, Governor of the Central Bank and other important officials.
The delegation was welcomed by Field Marshal Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
According to Iranian state media, the delegation also includes technical experts, advisory committees, security officials and media representatives, so that prompt and effective consultation can be provided in sensitive talks.
According to reports, the ongoing talks between Iran and the US have entered a very important stage, due to which the structure of the delegation has been further strengthened.
According to sources, regional security, economic matters and diplomatic relations will be discussed in these talks
