Islamabad: Pakistan has categorically rejected the allegations and claims regarding “Operation Sindoor” in the Indian Parliament, saying that it is an attempt to distort the facts for political purposes.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan clarified that India attacked Pakistan without any investigation, in which innocent civilians were martyred, while Pakistan had offered a transparent and independent investigation, but India rejected it.
He said that the statement of the Indian Home Minister is based on lies and stories. Claims like “Operation Mahadev” are irrelevant and unrealistic for Pakistan. Pakistan rejects India’s New Normal ideology and insists on the principles of sovereignty in the light of the UN Charter.
The spokesperson said that Pakistan responded befittingly to India’s aggression in May 2025 and achieved success by targeting Indian aircraft and targets.
In the press briefing, the spokesperson also said that the Iranian President will pay an official visit to Pakistan on August 2-3 and in recent meetings with the US, comprehensive discussions have been held on trade, technology and counter-terrorism.
Pakistan is a peace-loving country that prioritizes dialogue and stability in the region.
