India has been warned against tampering with the Indus Waters Treaty.

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has given a clear message to India that any kind of tampering with the Indus Waters Treaty or trying to stop or divert Pakistan’s water is unacceptable to Pakistan, and this step will be considered war.

Speaking in an interview, Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan has already proved its defense capability and equality; now it is time for both countries to move forward in a positive way and find solutions to problems through comprehensive dialogue. He said that the clap cannot be played with one hand, so India also has to adopt a serious attitude.

Ishaq Dar said that some decisions are very important in the life of nations, such as Pakistan taking important decisions on the night of May 9. He said that Pakistan has always been a supporter of dialogue and is still ready for it, but delay in such sensitive matters can be harmful for both countries.

In response to a question, he also described the role of US President Donald Trump as important and said that the Kashmir issue is the root cause of instability in the region, without which lasting peace is not possible.
