Islamabad: In view of the increasing gas consumption in winter, Sui Gas officials have issued a new schedule and made it clear that gas will be provided to domestic consumers at specific times throughout the country for the next three months except in Karachi and Quetta.
According to the new system, the first supply will be given from 5:30 am to 8:30 am daily, which will meet the needs of households at breakfast time. The afternoon session has been scheduled from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, while the evening supply will continue from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Officials said that it has been decided not to do gas load shedding for the industrial sector so that exports and production activities are not affected. They say that despite limited resources, efforts are being made to provide convenience to as many households as possible.
