Lahore: The living hearts of Lahore are ready to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr and hundreds of Eid prayer gatherings will be held in various mosques, Imambargahs and open spaces of the city.
According to the details released by the district administration and the Auqaf Department, prayers will be offered at various places from early morning to nine o’clock.
The timings of Eid prayers at the biggest and most important places in the city are as follows:
Badshahi Masjid: The biggest congregation in the city will be held here where Eid prayers will be offered at 08:30 AM.
Data Darbar (Jami Masjid): Eid prayers here are scheduled at 07:30 AM.
Bahria Town (Grand Jama Masjid): Eid prayers in this modern-style mosque will be held at 07:15 AM.
Jami Masjid Mansoora (Multan Road): The congregation will be held here at 07:30 AM.
Eid Gah Model Town: A big gathering for the residents of Model Town will be held at 07:00 AM.
Jami Ashrafia (Ferozepur Road): The timings for Eid prayers here are scheduled at 07:30 AM.
Minar-e-Pakistan (Greater Iqbal Park): A big gathering in the open field is expected at 08:00 AM.
The administration has appealed to the citizens to bring their personal belongings with them while coming for Eid prayers and cooperate with the security personnel. High-alert security orders have been issued across the city and additional wardens will be deployed on major highways to maintain traffic flow.
