Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the launch of the digital wallet system under BISP is a significant development that will provide assistance to the deserving people at home and ensure transparency.
Addressing the launch ceremony of the digital wallet system, the Prime Minister said that a mandatory clause will be made in this program that the children of the family who receives assistance should go to school. He said that this initiative will help in poverty alleviation as well as promotion of education.
The Prime Minister said that a cashless economy is the important need of today and the sooner we move towards this system, the sooner corruption will be eliminated from the country. According to him, BISP is a wonderful project that is playing an important role in economic and social stability.
