Islamabad: The Federal Ministry of Interior has announced two important holidays under the annual holiday schedule. According to the notification, December 25 will be observed as a national holiday as the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, during which all government and semi-government offices will remain closed.
According to the details released by the ministry, December 26 will be a special holiday for employees of the Christian community. This decision has been taken to ensure their full participation in the religious celebrations of Christmas so that they are able to celebrate the festival with their families.
According to government officials, notifications for both holidays have been sent to all institutions.
