Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi has said that the bench and the bar are two essential aspects of justice delivery and full cooperation between them will be ensured.
During a meeting with a delegation of the Sindh High Court Bar, the Chief Justice said that model criminal courts and timelines are being set for 13 types of cases across the country. He also mentioned introducing solarization and e-library facility for the bars, and issuing guidelines to protect the judiciary from external pressure.
The Chief Justice assured the delegation that the problems of the lawyers would be resolved on priority basis, while the Bar President requested the establishment of model civil courts to resolve old cases.
