Lahore:The Punjab government has launched a life-changing scheme “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar”, through which interest-free loans of up to Rs. 1.5 million will be provided to deserving individuals who want to build individual houses.
This scheme is available only if the applicant has land—1–5 marla in urban areas and 1–10 marla in rural areas. In addition, the applicant must be married, must be the head of the family in NADRA, and not be a defaulter in any bank or financial institution.
Steps to apply:
Step 1: Obtain the application form from the PITB or acag.punjab.gov.pk website or from the front desk of the Deputy Commissioner’s office of the respective districts.
Step 2: Complete the application with CNIC, land document, National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) record, and identity documents.
Step 3: Submit the form in the web application or office.
Step 4: Eligible candidates will be selected through a draw, after which the concerned bank or financial institution will start the process of land verification and loan disbursement.

Loan Amount: Rs. 15 lakh interest-free
Repayment Period: Seven Years
First 3 months payment waived
Monthly Installment Approximately Rs. 14,000
