A major step for public convenience, the launch of a transport complaint system

Lahore: The Punjab government has introduced a new complaint system for passengers across the province, through which the public will be able to immediately file complaints about overcharging, inappropriate behavior of drivers and other issues in public transport.

According to the Transport Department, this new system will help in redressing public complaints as well as ensuring accountability among drivers and transport operators. Citizens will be able to file complaints through a mobile app or helpline, which will be acted upon immediately.

Officers said that this initiative is an important part of the Punjab Transport 2030 Vision, which aims to provide safe, modern and smart travel facilities in the province. This project is expected to provide citizens with a better travel environment and timely justice.

According to sources, the new system will make public feedback a part of government policy-making, so that travel facilities can be made more effective and transparent in the future.
