KARACHI: Gold prices have once again increased across the country, after which 24-carat pure gold is being sold at Rs 348,500 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Jewellers Association, after the increase in the price of gold in the global market, there has been a significant change in the rates in the local market.

The 24-carat gold is available at Rs 3,48,500 per tola, Rs 2,98,800 per 10 grams, and Rs 29,880 per gram.
22 carat gold is available at Rs 3,19,456 per tola, Rs 2,73,898 per 10 grams, and Rs 27,390 per gram.
The price of 21-carat gold is Rs 3,04,938 per tola, while per 10 grams is Rs 2,61,450 and per gram is Rs 26,145.
The 18-carat gold is being sold at Rs 2,61,375 per tola, Rs 2,24,100 per 10 grams, and Rs 22,410 per gram.
Moreover, the price of 24 carat gold has reached Rs 8,47,100 per ounce in the international market.
According to experts, the recent rise in gold prices is being seen due to global political and economic conditions, fluctuations in the value of the dollar, and inflationary pressure. A large number of investors are turning to the market considering gold as a safe investment.
