KARACHI (April 29, 2025) Gold prices across the country have seen a further decline on the first day of the business week. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola has decreased by Rs 1,600 to Rs 347,100, while the price of 10 grams of gold has fallen by Rs 1,368 to Rs 297,582. In the international market, gold was trading lower at USD 16 per ounce, which was followed by global gold at USD 3289 per ounce. This decline was seen due to technical correction and loss of profitability of investors.

There has been no significant change in the price of silver. Silver remained steady at Rs 3497 per tola and Rs 2940 per 10 grams. Till last week, the price of gold was touching a record high of Rs 363,000 per tola, but due to the global economic situation and the strengthening of the dollar, this trend was broken.
