There should be no politics over water: Rana Sanaullah

Islamabad: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that the PML-N is ready to talk to the PPP on all national issues, including water. In his statement, he said that party president Mian Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif have instructed him to contact the PPP and resolve all the issues through dialogue.

Rana Sanaullah stressed that the PML-N fully believes in the fair distribution of resources and considers coordination among the units as the guarantor of the federation’s strength. He said that since the PPP is part of the federal structure, its leaders should talk responsibly while holding constitutional posts.

He added that in the presence of the 1991 agreement and the 1992 ARSA Act, the question of injustice to any province does not arise. Rana Sanaullah also said that there should not be politics on a sensitive issue like water, but all issues should be resolved through dialogue.
