Significant increase in IT exports, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan’s IT exports have registered a 23 percent growth in the first nine months of the current fiscal year, thanks to the facilities and policies offered by the government. According to the Prime Minister, exports from this sector have reached a historic level of $2.828 billion, which is a positive sign for the country’s economy.

Welcoming the development, he said that the government is making serious efforts not only for the development of the IT sector but also for the welfare of the people. Rather, the number of skilled people is also being increased to provide services abroad. Shehbaz Sharif added that the government is working on a number of projects for vocational training, access to modern technology, and making the youth self-reliant in IT.
