Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of supporting terrorists.

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, in his latest video statement, has made serious allegations against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying that the party has been supporting terrorists instead of taking a stand against them. He claimed that the PTI leadership gave safe passage to terrorists, and to date no terrorist organization has targeted any PTI leader, which raises many questions.

Talal Chaudhry further said that the founder of PTI laid out the red carpet during his rule, settling and facilitating terrorists. He criticized Ali Amin Gandapur, saying that instead of fulfilling his responsibilities, he makes excuses and creates a narrative that encourages terrorists.

Talking about counter-terrorism, the state minister said the incidents of terrorism have increased in the country due to the weakness of the CTD, but the government is committed to the complete elimination of terrorists. Highlighting Pakistan’s border security, he said that 1,400 checkpoints have been established on the Pak-Afghan border and 92 percent of the fencing work on the border has been completed, which is restricting the movement of terrorists.

Talal Chaudhry made it clear that Pakistan’s war is against terrorists and the government is taking all possible steps to defeat them. He said the top priorities of the government include health, education, law and order, and governance, and concrete steps are being taken to improve all these areas.
