National consensus is the need of the hour: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stressed the need for a broader consensus on national issues, saying all political parties have to come together for the betterment of the country and its people. Addressing an Iftar party at the Governor House Lahore, Bilawal Bhutto said it was necessary to pay special attention to the law and order situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and adopt a joint strategy to eliminate terrorism.

Bilawal Bhutto said, “Pakistan is currently facing internal and external challenges; we have to once again face problems like global conspiracies and terrorism.

“Our efforts will be to deal firmly with terrorists and their facilitators. The government and all political forces should come together to solve the problems facing the country.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari instructed to keep the doors of the Governor’s House open for the public, saying that the PPP would continue its struggle for the solution of public problems. He also urged the PPP workers to play a positive role in the difficult political situation and remain active for the welfare of the people.
