KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan continues to fluctuate, and today the price of gold in the local market recorded a further decrease. According to the Sarafa Association, gold per tola fell by Rs 800 to Rs 3 lakh 18 thousand, while the price of 10 grams of gold was also reduced by Rs 686 to Rs 272 thousand 633.
On the other hand, gold prices also fell in the international market, where gold became cheaper by $9 per ounce to $3,022. Experts say that the price of gold is fluctuating due to the value of the dollar in the global market and expected changes in U.S. economic policies.
According to economists, one of the possible reasons for the fall in the price of gold in Pakistan could be the fall in the price of gold globally as well as the stability in the value of the rupee. If this trend continues, there is a possibility of further decline in the price of gold in the coming days.
