KARACHI: The increase in the price of gold in the country for several days stopped today, and the price of gold in the local market recorded a significant decrease. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs 2,000 today, after which the new price was Rs 318,800. Similarly, the price of gold has declined by Rs 1,715 to Rs 273,319 per 10 grams.
Gold prices also fell in the global market today, where gold became cheaper by $19 per ounce to $3,031. According to experts, the fall in gold prices is due to the strengthening of the dollar in the international market.
The recent decline in gold prices at the domestic level is being called temporary, but the eyes of investors and buyers are on the global market trends. According to analysts, if the price of gold falls further in the global market, there is a possibility of further decline in the local market.
