Minister of State for Home Affairs Talal Chaudhry has criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, while addressing a press conference on Thursday, strongly criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the PTI leadership. He said that as a result of the policies of the former rulers, security challenges have increased in the country today, and innocent Pakistanis are being martyred.
He said that if the terrorists had not been rehabilitated during the PTI era, the country would not have faced such a serious situation today. According to him, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur was also present in the national security meeting, but by coming out, they are spreading false information that no operation will be allowed. Talal Chaudhry bluntly said that no major operation is currently under consideration, and the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is simply creating unnecessary confusion. The Minister of State accused the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that if he cannot stand against the terrorists, at least do not become their supporters. He said that the founder of PTI also condemned the Jaffar Express accident a week later, while effective measures against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are constantly being delayed.
Talal Chaudhry further said that Rs800 billion was given to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for security, but not even 8 billion of it was used. He clarified that the government is following its strategy against terrorism, and 180 operations are being carried out every day on the basis of intelligence inputs.
He added that 95 per cent of terrorism incidents in the country have taken place in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and significant achievements are being made in the fight against terrorism due to the sacrifices made by the security forces. He said that every person of the nation will play his role in this war and the controversial statements made by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government raise questions on patriotism.
At the end of the press conference, Talal Chaudhry described the founder of PTI as the “pattern-in-chief” of terrorists and said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are standing with the security forces, but the provincial government is adopting a non-serious attitude. He also came down heavily on PTI for not condemning the attack on Bannu Masjid.
