Forex Rates on the Open Market: the US dollar remained at Rs 282.10

KARACHI: The latest rates of foreign currencies have been released in the open market of Pakistan, where the US dollar is being bought at Rs 280.60 and sold at Rs 282.10. The overall stability was seen in the currency market today, although some currencies continued to fluctuate slightly.

Among other major currencies, the British pound is available for Rs 363.50 and Rs 367, while the euro is available for Rs 306 and Rs 308.75. The Saudi riyal was trading at Rs 74.75 and Rs 75.30, while the Emirati dirham was trading at Rs 76.15 and Rs 76.80. The Australian dollar was trading at Rs 179.75, the Canadian dollar at Rs 199.25 and the Chinese yuan at Rs 37.95, while the Japanese yen was limited to Rs 1.88 and Rs 1.94.

Experts say that the chances of any major change in the value of the Pakistani rupee are low, but the position of the US dollar globally and local economic conditions can affect the future currency rates. Investors are advised to remain cautious and watch out for market developments.
