Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan once again witnessed a decline, after which gold became cheaper by Rs 800 per tola. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, after this reduction, the price of gold per tola in the country rose to Rs 38,700. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 686, which is now Rs 2,64,660.
Gold prices are also falling in the international market. According to the Association, the price of gold in the global bullion market fell by $8 to $2,940 per ounce. This decline is a reflection of the strengthening of the dollar in the global market and international economic trends.
According to experts, one of the major reasons for the fall in gold prices is the decrease in uncertainty in the global market and the trend of investors towards risk-free assets. Gold prices in Pakistan depend on the global market as well as the value of the local currency.
The fall in gold prices has brought some relief to consumers, but for investors, the situation is a signal to be cautious. The trend of gold prices in the coming days will be strongly influenced by the global economic situation and the performance of the dollar.
