Karachi: An important drop in gold costs in Pakistan was recorded by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association. The price dropped by Rs. 2,700 per tola, or Rs. 286,400.
Not only did tola rates go down, but the price of 10 grams of gold also went down by Rs. 2,315 and is now Rs. 245,541.
The world market followed this downward trend, and gold dropped $26 an ounce and ended the day at $2,741.
This big drop comes after a smaller drop of Rs. 300 per tola that happened yesterday on the local market. Investors and sellers are keeping a close eye on the market’s changes because global and local economic factors are still having an effect on gold rates.
People who are keeping an eye on valuable metals can buy at the moment, but sellers should be careful because prices are changing all the time.
