Islamabad: The Federal Minister for Information Ata Tarar has stated positive signs for the Pakistani economy when stating that we are on the path to economic stability, and similar talks are also in progress for the political aspect as well. He made this statement while addressing the closing ceremony of a cricket league held by the Jang Group in Islamabad and declared 8th February as the ‘Day of Construction and Progress
Tarar said that the sports arenas in Pakistan are coming back. He pointed to the importance of the Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan. He said that it will attract the best teams in the world and cricket lovers will be able to watch quality matches.
In addition, he complimented the national team for its impressive display against the West Indies, and highlighted the virtues of sportsmanship as well. He also appreciated the robust performance of Mohsin Naqvi for supporting the case of Pakistan for the Champions Trophy at the ICC, he should encourage the culture of gentlemanly approach to bring solutions to such issues.
