Gold Prices Soar in Pakistan Amid Global Market Trends

Karachi: As people in Pakistan lost hope that US interest rates would go down, the price of gold kept going up. The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association says that the price of gold went up by Rs 1,300 per tola and reached Rs 278,300 on Wednesday.

In the same way, the price of 10 grammes of gold went up by Rs 1,114, making it Rs 238,597.

Gold prices also went up on the foreign market, going up by $13 to $2,635 an ounce, which is in line with the overall trend around the world.

In Pakistan, gold prices have gone up by Rs 2,000 per tola in just the last two days. This shows that there is strong demand from both inside and outside the country, even though the economy is unsure.
