Sargodha: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that the PTI founder’s present situation is due to “karma.” She said at an event in Sargodha that the problems we are facing now are caused by things that happened in the past. She also said that people who had encouraged others to be violent while their own children were away were now seeing the results of their actions. “Those young people who were misled and participated in the attacks and arson are now rotting in jails,” she said.
Teenagers and young adults were told by Maryam Nawaz not to feed anyone’s desire for power. She talked about Hassan Niazi, the nephew of the PTI chairman, and said that his parents were upset because Hassan had insulted the army by putting their uniform on a stick. “This is the same uniform worn by those who lay down their lives to protect us,” she said.
The chief minister also said that the world would be different when Hassan Niazi got out of jail after ten years. “How can it be okay to hang the military uniform on a stick when it’s not in their favour?” she asked those who backed the military when it fit their needs but spoke badly about it when it didn’t.
