Gold falls by Rs. 700 per Tola in Pakistan

KARACHI — In a significant decrease in the prices in Pakistan, gold per tola has fallen down to Rs. 275,000 today by reducing Rs. 700. This update was shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, a turning point in the local gold market.

As for the price of gold, the 10-gram rate reduced by Rs. 600 and closed at Rs. 235,768. This also falls in line with the trend of the international markets, as the global price per ounce of gold fell by $7 and is now $2,632.

Market experts opine that this decline in the prices of gold is due to enhanced dynamics of the international markets and slightly decreased demand in the local markets. This is something that is helping reduce the pressure for potential buyers slightly, though in consideration of the general economic factors.
