Karachi: The UAE Dirham is being traded at Rs. 77.6 (buying) and Rs. 78 (selling) in the open market.
The currency holds significance for Pakistan as thousands of Pakistani workers in the UAE send money back home regularly. The Dirham is also used in trade, tourism, and real estate transactions between the two countries.
Its stable value adds confidence for both remitters and traders.
