Karachi: The Omani riyal is continuing to trade at strong levels in Pakistan’s open market, reflecting its high value against the rupee. Today, the Omani riyal is being bought at Rs 728.65 and sold at Rs 738.65.
Pakistani professionals and skilled workers in Oman are regularly sending remittances back home, which is supporting family finances and local spending. The currency’s stability is offering some relief to recipients who rely on foreign income for education, healthcare, and daily needs.
Observers are noting that the riyal remains one of the most valuable Gulf currencies against the Pakistani rupee.
